I suppose that after you have photographed a family 15 times - they should get some sort of award right?
Even though I feel like the one who was given the award...I'm sure this will be cherished by these wonderful people for many, many years. Or at least one can hope.
I spent about 9 hours with this family last week, doing nothing more than photographing them in a typical day at their home. The photos should speak for themselves as to how much fun we had - and anyone with small kids can attest to how quickly the day is filled with busy little things like tea parties and puzzles. We didn't need to plan anything big or elaborate, because life - just as it is - is far more interesting, and worth cherishing. I've watched this video a half dozen times in the last 24 hours, and I'm sure I'll come back to it as I get to continue watching these little ones grow. They're only this way once...and in a blink of an eye, today is gone, and all you have left is tomorrow. These photos froze an entire day for them to revisit over an over, and the idea of that warms my heart beyond measure.
